“Incidentally, many years later, I finally stumbled across Many Lives, Many Matters, by Brian L. Weiss, MD, which not only offers virtually identical parallels to what's shared in Bridey, but also shares the discovery that there were indeed references to reincarnation in the Old and New Testaments that were deliberatedly stricken in the sixth century!” -- Mike Dooley Manifesting Change

I cannot understand the last sentence. What refers to what?
Does it mean that there are description about reincarnation in the Testaments?
What does "stricken" mean here? Kept secret? Be punished?

In this case, stricken means to be crossed out, to be removed.

The Captain was exonorated by the new evidence, and all references to the crime were stricken from his record.

In the case you provide, the author alleges that there were passages in the Bible which referred to reincarnation, but which were removed in the sixth century.
