@Butrflynet,
That truism has been repeated ad nauseum during this election cycle.

@JPB,
Not necessarily...

Vegas Employer: Obama Won, So I Fired 22 Employees

Quote:
LAS VEGAS (CBS Las Vegas) — A Las Vegas business owner with 114 employees fired 22 workers today, apparently as a direct result of President Obama’s re-election.

Rest at link above.

An anonymous employer?

@McGentrix,
That's what capitalism is all about; the owner of a business can fire his/her employees for whatever foolish reason they can muster.

Isn't it somewhat questionable that he's had those many employees until the election even when our president was Obama during the past four years.

I would venture to say he's a poor businessman basing hiring and firing on who our president happens to be. It's about demand for your product, stupid!

@roger,
A cheap shot I know. The Obama camp are paying me to spread the idea that the Romneys are wealthy and disconnected from the struggles of the commoner. And just as we'll too, they'd never intuit that without political shenanigans Rolling Eyes

I don't blame her a bit. If I had a nice, big house in Belmont, I'd be a happy camper too.

I honestly wish that I could stop posting political statuses after the Obama landslide victory but Republicans keep providing new material. First, Karl Rove has a live, on-air panic attack on Fox News as he desperately tries to convince them that Ohio should not be conceded to Obama. Now he's trying to cheapen Obama's overwhelming victory by saying it wasn't a result of Obama convincing people to vote for him as much as convincing people not to vote for Romney based on a negative smear campaign.

Hey, shithead, don't you remember how you got Bush elected twice? Why don't you shut the hell up and try to explain to all your billionaire donors how you pissed away their money (again)?

@jcboy,
That's typical conservative thinking; way off the mark. In this morning's news paper editorial page, a conservative said Obama doesn't have a mandate, because he won by such a slim margin. I'm sure that's how they think when their team wins the Superbowl with a "slim margin." How childish!

Funny how they never bothered when Bush stole the election and pushed the most far right agenda ever.

@izzythepush,
They all have very short memories; that's the reason their own rhetoric will eventually conflict. It's also called "hypocrisy." They don't understand the meaning of that word.

@JPB,
Yes, it's true. But I'm not sure whether it's more disturbing that their leaders would lie to them, or that they were so happy to believe the lies.

@JPB,
The gist of the problem:

“The Republicans have been fleeced and exploited and lied to by a conservative entertainment complex.”
