Nurses: Have a question about nursing jobs or nursing education and exams?

There is a specific Nursing Group on this site that will be able to help you. To find it, go to the top of any page here and click the Groups link. Then select the Nursing Group and post your question there.

@Butrflynet,
I was told by A2K staff that it is alright for nurses to ask their specific or technical questions here on the general A2K forum, and that there is no need for them to only go to the nursing group for information.

I was trying to create a more welcoming way of helping them find their way to the nursing group, but now that it has been clarified that they are welcome to post in the general forums of A2K, I've requested the admins edit out my request for A2K members to refer nursing posts to this tutorial.

So, no need to direct them to the nursing group, just welcome them to A2K and, if you're able to do so, answer their questions.

Sorry for the mix up.

@Butrflynet,
Well, just my opinion, but on the general forum, they don't seem to get much in the way of answers. If they make it to the Nursing forum, they might not only get answers, but engage other nursing people.

<oh well>

@roger,
Yeah, nurses are a league unto their own.

When they have a nursing question, they want to address it with other nurses.

Marco is a nurse practioner, if he's not already involved in the nursing forum, he'd be a great addition!

@Butrflynet,
Good and thoughtful idea, Butrflynet. Hate to admit it, but my habit has been all along to simply collapse the thread when I see the words HAAS or 'nursing' in the title. <click> thumbs down <click> Not really fair to people looking for answers.

@Butrflynet,
Nice thread Buteflynet.

More and more Hospitals, Nursing homes, Doctor’s offices etc are requiring LPN’s/LVN’s to get the RN licenses or lose their jobs, at least here in the states they are.

I’ve seen so many threads on HAAD exams: Health Authority of Abu Dhabi Licensure Examiation for Nurses.

There is no specific review material for for HAAD. it's a general information type of exam, of course related to nursing, so any review book will do, however I would recomment, NCLEX. Most nurses will know what I’m talking about.

I will check in her frenquently. Thank you!
