@Krumple,
Faith is believing in the unseen
The reward of faith is seeing what you believe
Everything at one time was somehow observed only then to be understood, sometimes centuries later.

I think I need to complete your sentences for you.

Faith is believing in the unseen, with absolutely no good reason to do so.

The reward of faith is seeing what you believe, to realize you are being delusional.

Everything at one time was somehow observed only then to be understood, sometimes centuries later. We call this process science and the things that were attributed to the supernatural are discovered to be natural phenomena. There is no need for faith if you utilize science.

You are welcome.
