@Pasture Timmy,
Try to be more careful with the quote function.

In your own words, why do you think she sinned?
She wanted moral license. The ability to set her own standards for right and wrong.

Eve was perfect, how was it possible for her to start behaving badly?

@Pasture Timmy,
She chose to sin. If that sounds like an oversimplification, I can't change that.
Adam and Eve and the one called Satan were perfect and they chose to sin. Free will would be impossible if it did not allow choice.

@neologist,
His question stands...a flawless perfect being would only have free will to chose within perfect choices, but not to fault. Furthermore if we consider that there is only one best choice then such being would not have free will.

Do you think there were reasons Eve chose to sin?

Not exactly.
Free will would be impossible if it did not allow for free choice.
It's my contention that Eve's choice was influenced, and therefore not free.

Quite a stretch, Tim. Yet, if Eve had been deceived, Adam certainly was not deceived.

You haven't read the 3rd chapter of Genesis, right? If you had, you would know the lie Satan promised Eve.

Are you sure you do not have another a2k identity? Reasoning Logic hasn't posted in a while. But you seem to have inherited his learning curve.

Should the perfect Eve have been able to resist the lie from Satan?
