Arthur, Bi Polar Bear was being purposely obtuse when he asked questions of your thread about the nun joke. He is well-known here as being very knowledgeable about such things (not to mention every other variety of sexual experience) and was pulling your leg, so to speak. (Although "pulling" is a slightly unfortunate word choice, in context... :-?)
At any rate, Letty was warning you that Bi Polar Bear is, in her terminology, a brat, and he's not the only one. "Lurking about" just means that there are more of them (jokesters, pranksters, rakes, etc.) even if you haven't met them yet.
Hi, Arthur! Letty posted this since she, and I, and probably some others, thought that you didn't know that BiPolarBear was "pulling your leg" - a phrase meaning that he was teasing you. He does know what masturbation is, and is undoubtedly not as appalled as he sounded in his posts.
You didn't do anything wrong at all, and neither did he.
