I've already told you that one does not translate proper nouns. The way to write 9 rue de la Terrasse, 94000 Creteil, France in English is 9 rue de la Terrasse, 94000 Creteil, France.

Yes, you've told me.

What I actually wanted to know is:

1) Is "9" the number of his room? Or his unit?

2) Is 94000 the postal code of his city (Cretail?)?

Nine is what in English is referred to as the street number. It would be the number of the house or the building in which he resides. Yes, 94000 is the postal code.

Could you see "rue de la Terrasse" the name of a street or of a building?

Impressive, Joe.
I've found 7 and 10 rue de la Terrasse, but failed to find the 9, the door plate of which seems to be covered by green leaves.

@oristarA,
Number 9 would be on the same side of the street as Number 7.

It's a little disturbing to me that I can view somebody's house and street, but that's part of living free isn't it?

Joe is to be disturbed, while big shots will be proud.

All along I know 8,10, 12 are in the same side, and so are 7,9,11. I found 8,10, 12 there, but beside 7 there was no trace of 9. Very Happy

@Walter Hinteler,
Thank you.
Actually I've found it at about 11:44PM (Beijing Times) last night and saved the screen shot but not uploaded it because it was deep into the night in China.

Is that because you were sleepy or are uploads slower at night in China?

My computer seems faster, not slower, at night.
