@edgarblythe,
Quote:I get your point about ros using astrology in that way, but he is on the mark.
He is not on the mark because his mind is closed on the matter and that is no way to set an example of what scientific thinking is to others. I have an open mind. It has nothing to do with Ouiga boards and Eight Balls except that you and ros are talking Eight Balls of Shite.
You both, and others, have it in for astrology because the seasons have been,to a large extent, ironed out for you by science which is a Christian project to its very core. No famines for you eh? No breeding season. No waiting for the spring friskies. And astrology conceived astronomy.
The conjunctions in the heavens are mere codes to say when a birth took place. Be born in November and your first few months, which are very influential according to psychologists, are different experiences to those of people born in May. Those conjunctions vary slowly enough to last a fortune teller's lifetime and the predictions are based on probabilities. Mother's milk is rich in November because the harvest is in store. It might be thinner in May when it has all been eaten.
If you want to say the Daily Stars in the paper are drivel well most feechewers of that nature are drivel as well. When you can't separate the Daily Stars from Astrology you really are unscientific. And it's a science thread so ros is trolling every single time he posts and I'm the life and soul of both threads. One 8 years old.
Science has its share of charlatans. When you start picking on one bunch of charlatans you should pick on them all. So you start a new thread about charlatans and **** off from the science.
