That's great fun chai.
Actually no, it really isn't.
I mean, unless you're a 7 year old boy. Even then it's only fun for the 7 year old doing it. Then, suddenly, on your own, you realize how stupid it is. The boy ususally bores of it in a matter of days, or a week or 2.
Frankly, I wonder at the social skills and social maturity of those that behave as if it's fun.
Not trying to insult you directly spendius, but have you, or any of the usual suspects really examined why being such a dolt is fun?
Because it irritates others?
Everyone has inside jokes, saying something to a particular person once in a while. But one has to know when to stop, when it's past its prime.
However, it seems some don't get it when the parties over, when it's not a funny aside anymore, and is just plain boring and dumb.
There's a particular poster here that really doesn't know when to call it quits. Everything said has to be argued, even when there's nothing to argue about. Constantly has to make a contrary statement to what is being said. I have wondered what it must be like if he ever convinces a woman to go on a date with him. If it were me, halfway through dinner I'm sure I would excuse myself to go to the ladies room, and just leave.
There'd be no way to get this guy to understand that really, no really I'm serious, this isn't fun or pleasant spending time with you, and there's no sense in explaining "I'm leaving" because he really wouldn't get why, so why bother?
Actually, I understand from someone else here that he's actually a nice guy. However, putting up with his social retardation is not something I can do long term. Goldman has better social skills.
No spendius, et al, it really, no seriously, it really isn't charming, fun, mentally stimulating, thought provoking or anything positive.
Yea sure, 2 sides to everything, blah blah blah. Sometimes though, the end result is, just knock it off already.
