A homunculus is not a midget (a midget is much bigger; a homunculus is a supernatural creature)

I wouldn't want to be called either.

However:

"Homunculus" and "Midget" are not the same word

From what I remember, according to legend, it is a creature made by a sorcerer, and because it is made by man, not God, it does not have a soul. Why not check out wikipedia?
