Yes, thay don't because most of the time
those topics don 't arise in the conversation.

Its the same as that I am enuf of a gentleman as to restrain myself
from browbeating a girl on a date to convince her to vote as I do.

If it comes up in the conversation,
then we can discuss whatever it is of interest.
