It's was mighty chilly for here last night 55 F. Hell, even the daytime temps never got higher than 72 F - one of the lowest hight temps on record for that date.

Once again you presumed wrong. I grew up in greater Boston...a frigid snowy, winter clime from mid-Nov to early April. Last left residing in the northeast in 2009 after 7 yrs in Albany NY...a snowier, more frigid area.

I know all about being ass-deep in snow...only to step into a deeper snow drift, losing my gloves in the snow and having to scrape a windshield (after breaking my only decent scraper) with a credit card. oh yes, and all that occuring in 0 deg F (not 0 C).

The weather here is picture perfect. The good Lord will not need his specs to pick out the rapture-deserving souls among the Texans. I will miss the governor. Not so much the legislature, door knockers and gun nuts. Ol' Perry lately kept me amused.
