@Lustig Andrei,
Let's hope he doesn't eat them all before he gets back here.

@firefly,
I used to wonder what all fuss was about regarding chocolate from Begium. Then a man who worked with us, brought back some of those divine confections from Belgium and now the chocolate available to me tastes like chocolate wax. And not very tasty chocolate wax at that.

Darn! I forgot myself while being screened at the airport in Antwerp.

Now all I have are these low grade Butterfingers and a satchel full of Ghiardelli chocolates...

The truffles seem to be doing well though.

oh, erm, uh, Beth dear, I um, er, uhm we all devoured the licorice when the plane hit some turbulence and we thought we were all goners. Shared it with others though...but at least I didn't lick any of it and try to hand it off to you.

Wonder if it's time to go underground for my own safety...

@Sturgis,
All this talk of licorice reminds me of the Firemen's hoses we could buy ages ago.

I haven't sucked on a Fireman's hose in years.

@Lordyaswas,
Try sucking on a Skipper's pipe instead

I tasted my best belgian chocolates from one of the places on this square (piazza Garibaldi in Parma); wish I remembered the name of it. Will need to wrack my brain, in case they have a website for me to reminisce re photos.

@ehBeth,
Where is that licorice-lovin' chocolate-chasin' candy bandit anyway? Still asleep in the line where you set him up with the cot, Beth?

@ehBeth,
I had to make sure it was all properly confectioneryed...

unfortunately that meant consuming everything.

However the truffles were fine the last I saw of them (lost track of them while the luggage carousel was going around)

@Sturgis,
Well, hopefully whoever finds them will enjoy them.

Next time you're on the road, try to get some real truffles instead of those vile cocoa-based things.

@ehBeth,
...hmm...and just how would you know they were the vile tasting ones unless you swiped 'em off the luggage carousel?
Well? We are all waiting for an answer young lady!

@ehBeth,
Won't they be rather squashed by the time they are recovered?
