Getting the Last Word

There was a report on the missing a2kers thread.. had health problem, recovering I think.

Apparently I'm one of few against the world - I don't care if my local or country team wins in any sport, I care about the different teams and players and their stories. Ok, I was for the US in the world cup, but I was for many others too, and some of those earlier in the line.

I started out with distaste for my local Los Angeles teams at the time, and move on to reading about others. That was circa late fifties, and before then, my teens, I'd lived in several very different places.

I'm not against people's engagement with their place and teams, I get it, but it's just not me most of the time.

I've been wondering about Lustig myself. I'll send him a PM.

I'm touched by your concern, folks, I really am. As has already been mentioned by someone, I've had severe health problems last couple of months. I type this from my bed at a nursing home convalescent center where I was just today able to get hooked up on their free wi-fi. I don't mind telling you that when I was first admitted here after spending a week at the hospital, I was positive in my own mind that I'd be leaving here in a hearse. But I seem to be on the mend. I expect to be here for another couple of months, however. When I feel up to it will give you guys a more detailed update.

I'm so sorry you've been going through serious health problems, but it's good to hear you are on the mend. And it's wonderful that you are now hooked up with Wi-Fi, and able to stay in contact with us, and join the game threads.

Good to see you back here Andy. You have been noticeably absent causing anxiety in many of us. Sorry though that you have been dealt a bad hand in the health cards. You have the right and positive approach and should get through tag as his and be back to normal soon.
