It does not pay to be overconfidently underestimating the enemy.

He is must a threat as the phony 4 C they gave the man is a threat.

This is a manufacture threat at some expense and resources being tied up and not available for the task of looking for and dealing with real threats.

It is in fact hard to underestimate someone who idea of attacking a reinforce concrete building is to fly a 6 to 30 thousands toy into it carrying a few pounds at best of payload.

The Beauty is that it according to experts MIGHT hold two pounds of c-4 only if the GPS was ditched,but using GPS was a critical part of the plan. How about we run a test and see how much c-4 this plane can carry while remaining stable in flight so that it has a chance to reach the target Mkay? I might hatch a plan to strap Acme c-4 to a coyote so that it can blow up a roadrunner, but that does not make the plan a credible threat nor me a potential terrorist.

@hawkeye10,
Hawkeye if you could launch a hundred or two hundreds tiny drones against a soft target like the White House you might be able to destroy it with the right payload not four C but some form of incendiary payload instead.

There even been tiny GPS control prototypes drones able to cross the Atlantic with small weather instruments aboard.

This would make a new and interesting means of attack but far beyond the proven or at all likely capabilities of the entire Middle East terrorist networks together.

Also there are far simpler and far cheaper means of attacking even as well guarded structure as the White House.

Obviously, which is the same as saying that there are ideas that are much more credible than this one is. However, they are not likely to catch the attention of those who put together the news. The government wanted to fan the fear that we might be attacked so that they could play the savior, and for that finding some dope who is willing to say that he wants to fly a model plane loaded with c-4 into the Pentagon works a whole lot better than finding a guy who says he wants to strap c-4 to his chest walk into a crowd near the Pentagon and blow himself up. After all this little bit of c-4 on a model plane was never a threat to anyone in the building, it was only pedestrians that might have been hurt.

Americans are nothing if not fearful and gullible, our government knows what it is working with as it tries to accomplish its goals.
