The above is the finished dish for which an official English translation is given: Griddle Cooked Spare Ribs and Chicken. But I am not sure whether this translation is correct or not. So in the following I will show you the steps of cooking this dish.

http://photocdn.sohu.com/20080912/Img259535795.jpgThe above picture shows the spare ribs, chicken wings, with several vegetables. {ribs and chicken not in the picture!}

Maybe the author forgot to insert some photos.

But my question is: Is this gribble cooked dish?

@fansy,

Sorry, I forgot to add the img to the front and rear of the website to bring out the image.
Also, a mistake in the last line: it should be griddle, not gribble.

In the American language, at least, it would probably be described as grilled chicken. While a grill and a griddle are two entirely different things, the term for food cooked in that manner is usually grilled. For example, a cheese sandwich, with a slice of cheese between two slices of bread, which is then cooked in a frying pan or on a griddle, is usually called a grilled cheese sandwich.

By the way, the food you show has not been cooked on a griddle. Some portions were deep fried during the preparation, and the rest of it was cooked in a wok. Most Americans are sufficiently familiar with this manner of cooking that i suspect they would call it stir fried spare ribs and chicken.
