Is there a problem with some A2K functions today?

I have been attempting to respond to a particular discussion just now, but all of the usual quote, edit, emoticon, etc functions are currently missing.

In their place is: show BBCode Editor.

I'm trying to figure out if there's a problem at my end or at A2k's end.

Thanks.

@msolga,
Confused

It shows close or open BBCode Editor. Mine is set to open.

@trying2learn,
So yours is OK, T2L?
Mine isn't. It was before, but not now.
I haven't changed any settings.

@msolga,
Just checked again: all I have is "Show BBCode Editor"

Can't change that back to normal settings, though I've tried to.

@msolga,
Is anyone else experiencing these problems?

I'm trying to sort out what the source of the problem might be.

Thanks.

@Walter Hinteler,
Interesting.

Thank you, Walter.

I installed a new Adobe update this morning .... that's the only new "adjustment" I've made today.
I have no idea whether that has anything to do with the A2k glitches I'm dealing with now , or not ....

Things were fine after I downloaded that update this morning ....

@Walter Hinteler,
All I have, Walter, is: Show BBCode Editor.

I can't quote, of course.

I just ran an update in my (Norton) security sysstem.

Just a hunch, as I haven't done it for a feww days.

Absolutely no difference.
But that was a long shot.

In a minute I will log off the net, then log back on again, to see if that makes any difference.

@trying2learn,
No change after logging out & logging back in, t2l.
All I see is "Close BBCode Editor".
If I click on that, nothing changes.

Thank you for your efforts to help, though ...

I haven't a clue about what has occurred & why ...

One final check .... I will log off & turn off the power source, then see if it makes any difference when I'm back online.

If it doesn't, I'm lost.

@msolga,
So you're saying that clicking Show BBCode Editor won't do anything?
Mine always says Open or Close BBCode editor, depending.
I'm using Chrome.

@msolga,
Hey it could always be worse. Like me spending over 6 hours earlier with no help to restore my computer because it crashed. Meaning reinstalling the hd and not knowing what damage would be done or if it would work. I did it though and I am damn proud Very Happy

Woo hoo.
Just got home, turned on my computer & the problem has righted itself.
(that's right, wayne, clicking on the BBCode editor made no difference. Haven't had that experience before.)

Anyway, problem solved, though I have no idea what caused it & how it fixed itself.
Thank you guys & t2t for trying to help. Much appreciated.

Strange, now the emoticons a playing up. (I noticed they were a couple of days ago, too.)

Test:

Very Happy Smile Wink Sad Surprised Shocked Confused Cool Laughing Mad Razz Embarrassed Crying or Very sad Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil Rolling Eyes Exclamation Question Idea Arrow Neutral Mr. Green 2 Cents Drunk

So some are working & others aren't.

@msolga,
It may not be your computer. I noticed the same thing yesterday, but it is OK now.
