@blueveinedthrobber,
Can you name some of the "good things" he has done?

@Cycloptichorn,

As opposed to those who rant about what a terrible president he is? He got stuck with a bum deal from day 1: 2 wars, a huge recession (which was much, much worse than initially projected) and an opposition who was willing to lever any amount of hate and latent racism to defeat anything he wanted to do to make the situation better. He hasn't done such a bad job in the face of all that.

Cycloptichorn

Why would an intelligent person want to be president if he had all those problems to cope with? POWER!

@blueveinedthrobber,
I suppose that as in 2008, some folks will now come in on cue to call me a racist.
=============================
And you consider it a bad thing to be a racist?

@Cycloptichorn,
"our economy is still struggling; in large part because the underlying causes of the crash have not been addressed."

Very well said. I do not trust the Obama Administration to have the ability to address the core issues. If in 3 years, he can not come up with something other than what has been tried (and failed) before, how can anyone trust him to be able to succeed?

@woiyo,
Those of us with functioning brains knew right off the bat when Obama made his statement to Joe the Plumber about income redistribution that Obama was a liberal, Marxist, socialist tool of the Zionists who are working to destroy America for their own purposes.

Well, would you really support him addressing the core issues? It would mean bringing back the Glass-Steagal act, and prosecuting those responsible for the financial crisis; and refusing to bail out any bank any further, instead taking them into receivership and firing all of their top execs?

I would also add that the Consumer Financial Protection agency that Obama wants created goes a long way towards keeping these sorts of issues from happening again; but your party is currently fighting as hard as they can to get rid of it and prevent any real reform from happening.

If you want the problem fixed, wouldn't you agree that those you support are doing everything they possibly can to keep that from happening?

Obama now owns this economy.

Obama has been a huge success in that he did exactly what he set out to do, he has fundamentally transformed the US.

The Obama depression is deepening and his efforts to transform the US economy into a big government run Euro style state economy will only increase if we allow him to rule for a second term.

If you love this country, you need to help me oust Obama in 2012.

@blueveinedthrobber,
With whom are you disappointed?

I assume you realize that the Senate, which is controlled by Democrats, have blown off O's "Must Pass Now!" demand.

How you've come to the conclusion that America has made it known they are happy with Obama showing toughness is beyond me.

Maybe if he came up with a plan that made any sense at all, six Democrat senators would have not announced they can't vote for it and forced Reid to delay Senate consideration.

Obama can't lead his party let alone the country.

That can join a very long list, along with puns, satire, irony, nuance etc.
