Well, there has to be someplace that could help her. Have you tried other nursing homes? Temporary ones maybe? Is there a such thing as a temporary nursing home? There's gotta be something...

We get TWO weeks off! Which is half a month! Which = awesomeness! Haha! And this Christmas is gonna be SICK! My dad already went shopping for some stuff and I know where he put the gifts! I can't wait!!

Today wasn't all that great for me but we've been talking about the civil rights movement in American History and last week we watched a movie about a little girl who tries to go to an all white school. It was really sad at some parts but it was a really good ending I loved it. The movies called Ruby Bridges. It's the little girls name.
And today we watched Remember The Titans and we're going to finish it tomorrow.
If you haven't seen the movies before you should check them out. They're awesome.
Glad to hear you're studying the civil rights era, Gracie. Many of us on A2k were involved in that one way or another. If you need extra info, maybe you should start a thread on it like you did on the Cold War. Btw, I was there at the big march on Washington when MLKing made that famous "I have a dream speech." Great memories.
I've taken the test for that chapter already and I got an A but we do have midterms this week and I know they'll be some Civil Rights questions. Plus, I love hearing/reading the stories you guys tell. That's an awesome idea, LA. I'll do it!
