My best friend lost his brother just prior, and smoky was struggling with his hip, so I spent that day helping out. gram sorta forgot that it was my birthday, but she's getting kinda that way anymore. at 92, she's allowed to forget some stuff...

I got well wishes from my long distance friend, and that made up for a lot.

I made a good dinner and spent some time with the moon.

I'm glad you had a good one. and if you keep an open and adventurous spirit, the visit to your grandparents could be a lifelong fun memory.

Canada's awesome and people in Canada seem nicer to me. You should totally visit someday. Wonderlands AWESOME!! Its an amusement park with tons of rides. Its soo fun!

I've had a fever and a headache since this morning: 101.6 F And the weirdest thing is I dont even feel sick. Just tired and bored since Im stuck in bed. My aunts visiting and she's been shoving Chicken Noodle Soup with goldfish and orange juice down my throat all day. Yuck.

Sounds like your aunt is taking good care of you, Gracie--it's important to take in fluids when you're running a temperature.

It's very hot here in NYC, and I have to get moving on a new job. I don't like the heat, and I don't like to work. Combine the two, and I'm languishing in the Big Apple.
