Mr. Soggy is brilliant, he contradicts himself, then insults everybody. I have never seen him even attempt to debate anything, he just can't do it. If only there were a psychiatrist on A2K. He'd be able to make a fortune on his treatise on Soggy Syndrome.

I don't think anyone was deceived by the editing. With or without the clause about elections the clear message from Hoffa was one of urging everyone to vote to take the Republican SOBs out of office. BBB has merely cut and pasted yet another self-serving phony issue from some Democrat blog. These folks talk tough, but as we all saw in Wisconsin whine incessantly when they are defeated by the people.

Seems to me there are two people doing the insulting. Funny how you only seem to call out one of them for it. But I'll fix that by pointing out that personally, I think they could both do with an infusion of decency, but maybe that's just me.

I only glanced at H2O's post. I' not sure either of what you mean by "the message" of of what H2O may have missed - my impression is that he was saying they do that stuff all the time with more of the usual vitriol, or something like that.

I don't comment on reports without first reading the full report and seeing on what the individual's (or organizations) conclusions are based upon. Any idiot can point a finger at someone and manipulate facts to back up their beliefs. I would think you would know that. So I'll refrain from commenting. But you're doing a good job of changing the subject of this thread. lol

I'm sure that you're gonna run right out and buy Professor Coatsworth's book, aren't you, CR? We've had discussions on this before and, correct if I'm wrong, but I'll suggest that you dropped it like a hot potato, never searching out anything.

I find it amazing that you can say that. You've expressed shock and dismay a number of times over the fact that the US is responsible for the deaths of millions.

I submit that you have readily accepted a large amount of information over your lifetime with not a blip on your radar.

Where else do you figure an infusion of decency might work?

Well, you're right - It was the post of her daughter, Butterflynet, to which I was referring. I unthinkingly associated her defense of the offensive words of Jimmy Hoffa Jr., the namesake of the gangster who made the Teamster's pension funds a bank of convenience for the Mafia, with BBB's usual reflexive defense of anything union leaders do or say. My error.

However my reaction remains the same. I don't pay a lot of attention to H2O's posts.
