No DWTS fans here?

Surely, there are opinions.

One online group. OneMillionMoms.com, has even called for a boycott of the series, with its director Monica Cole, telling Inside Edition on Wednesday, "We will not be able to watch the show with Chaz on there. This is going to be very confusing for children, and should not be included in their cast."

Remember:

This is from the same group that was concerned about Bert and Ernie's upcoming marriage.

I never watch that show. On the other hand, the furor over Chaz is downright stupid. I can't think of any criminal or otherwise reprehensible acts he is known for.

Why?

edit: yes I know Chaz used to be Chastity etc., I'm just wondering what will be so confusing about CHAZ dancing. The moms can explain or not as they see fit, no?

Wonder what that action from MillionMom's.com banning Chaz from the show would do to keep those kids from seeing a transgender-ite. When you stick your head in the ground will that make it all go away?

My biggest question is when Chaz dances will he lead?

Chaz also was a child of Sonny's, too. That's got give a kid issues too. Wasn't he the one that died when he crashed into a tree while skiing?

Yeah, that's true! So the kid got a double whammy from life - all the more reason to be sympathetic towards him. He's got a kind face and I am glad
that he was chosen to dance.

I never watch that show but why the hell should only the "good and beautiful crowd of Hollywood" be chosen. Kudos to the producers to defy any backlash!

All kidding aside, I have lots of empathy and sympathy for Chaz. Conversely I have little sympathy for Millionmoms.com. All they have to do to keep their kids away is shut off the TV. What's the problem?

And even if they watch it, what's the harm? This person who is transgender represents a tiny part of the diverse sexual spectrum of humantiy and human condition. Perhaps they, as members of society and as parents, could stand some enlightenment themselves!

After all, it's not like it's contagious!

Exactly! If anything, they (Moms) should take this as a discussion point to
explain to their children what transgender means and how trapped this people are in a different body they're born with and the psychological problems resulting thereof and so on....

We cannot shield our children from life, they have to be part of it.

Haha, I wouldn't have made the posts, if I thought otherwise, JTT. Yes, I like gustav very much, but we always had an understanding that it is strictly an a2k admiration. I wouldn't trade him for the guy who's enriching my life in the real world Very Happy
