But this is what makes me laugh...Why does it matter to you?? The God thing is bullshit anyways is it not?? So, Why do you feel the need, to come here, to put people of faith down, and insult them...??

Why are you not living your life to the highest and fullest regard, without a care in the world?? What is keeping you here to talk and debate about this stuff, if not a God, and/or your conscience keeping you here??

That is actually what my "Mother" used to say Smile And, her Mother, etc.. And, there is an irony in that, following that statement, it would be "because I am an Adult, I am allowed to".... So he is God he can and we can't... There has to be a follow up from that statement because it's not enough.

So we should be as Holy as we can be...the reason why it is different is the Lord is Completely Holy, and Righteous, always has been, and will be, and ultimately he is saying, there will come a time, when I can no longer let my anger hide from their faces, and the only alternative is for them to be cast out, and spend eternity away, or separated from Me....

But, then as we are tought to stay away from negativity, or evil..... Should he not too... Won't they create their own destiny? If there is a Heaven for all "good"to go to, and a Hell for all "bad" to go to, then this World has purpose. However, if all man chooses to be evil, do wrong then I would imagine the game is over, so to speak and he would want to create a "new" world and try again........So like politics, one has to win?

Why I said, I doubt it will go down like that...

Quote:

Yes, they have...

Yes, and it does...

That is exactly why the world is predicted to end 4 total times...with a new creation each time...But the last one will be so sinister...there is no end rather than being slaughtered to be done with and be cast down right there and then....(according to the Bible) With God being the victor over all evil...

He can no longer hide his anger, and give them time...there is no other way than to strike them down and kill them, and send them to their captivity...and God, and his people can be/and do righteousness forever more...Without any devil, or wicked person to try to stop or contort it any more...Jesus just bought us time...

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
And, then this is where the saying comes from " he played God " Smile

IDK, I wish life was not about winning or losing, I don't see things black and white. It should be about success is within, trying is success, winning and losing is well, for loosers... I would have to guess that anyone that "tries" is a winner....

@FOUND SOUL,
I would agree with that, I believe things are not black and white either...and I do believe that trying is winning...but the trying aspect means accepting a God, (according to scripture)...If you can't accept a God, to be with him, no matter how many times you fall, or succeed... that is worse, (to him) than believing, and falling a million times every day...Because it shows loyalty to him, and loyalty from him to you...And that faith was and is the hardest thing to do, and if you have faith, then you did what you could, but at the end of it all, you had, and did the hardest thing to do...understand where all bad bloody sinners, and have your place for God, above all...Think about it, All you have to do, and All your debts will be wiped out with faith alone, yet people try to work against God 7 days a week....

And about the black and white thing...I will take it even further as to say, if you have inner glow of righteousness in you, from doing more Holy, than more wicked, you can be saved...If you have more wicked in you than of Holy, than you can still be saved but maybe will be purged, and then be entered in....

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
Spades, I don't disagree with you, without a "belief" there is no purpose and without a "belief" no one is there to guide you when you fall Smile I've seen enough "un-explained" things in my life to "believe" that what you put out there, if you believe comes true and, that there is in-deed something out there, those that don't think so, to me, their minds are closed and therefore they have never seen...

If I believed in black and white, then I would believe in science explains everything.

I don't.

Science can explain alot, but can not explain what I've seen. The openess allows simple things, like always being able to tell someone where something was left, or almost always, yet you were not there when they placed that item where you have seen it and they have found it Smile

I still refuse to "believe" this scripture thingy , though I will read what you all write and sometimes, confirm some of those things as my own belief, from within, still wondering where I got that information from Smile

Im sorry, why so defensive?? The title opf this thread implied that ALL ARE WELCOME. Why does my little opinion worry you?

If you take time to read other posts that dont spend time adulating your greatness might I submit that I can do whatever I wish and there aint a damn thing you can do bout it bubba. When Im done here Ill probably scoot on over to the Homemade Chili thread (I dont need no religious affiliation to comment on chili recipes do I?). Then I think Ill go back to the evoltion thread and see if any IDiots have posted .

Can you get the concept of how this site works? I do not need permission, yours or anyones, to comment freely on any subject I wish.

@FOUND SOUL,
Very well...Like I said...I have doubts it is going to go down exactly how scripture says it will, and this is from (what God says a Prophet of his)

So long as your have rays of light, or inner glow...Your not going to be dumb enough to fall...that is the best way I can explain it...

The sad thing is though, I hear so many people say, well I don't care if I go to Hell, and I do not care if God sends me there etc...But the bottom line is that is pure bullshit from someone who knows nothing of what they speak of...(I am sure you know what I mean based upon your experiences) But my personal ones (if scripture is right) and people have to go to Hell, than God truly tricked the most clever people alive...For they truly do not understand what they are in for and honestly, it is going to be one of those things where the people really understand and realize how bad and shitty things are going to get, at a point of no return and being too late...and there isn't a dam thing anyone can do about it, nor is God willing to care to help them, anymore...and I truly feel sorry for them indeed...But many of them are so thick headed it is like talking to a brick wall...And some (you will see, just watch for it) will come out of the wood work to try to attack me, you or both of us for this...and tell us how much of a dick head God is for this...When the bottom line is they know they're wrong, or they would not feel compelled to explain it to me about how right they are...And they know what they need to do, and how simple it is to get out of the hole they dug... Wink Wink Very Happy

(think about that and read it over a few more times)

Anyways I have to go for a bit, I need to take a break, I am getting eye strain...Have a great day or night Soul!! and All!! Wink Wink Very Happy Very Happy

And you know me hun, I wasn't disagreeing with you, either...Just trying to explain it...It is very difficult to understand that based on words alone...and without seeing a persons physical expressions etc...

Always love for you hun!!

I believe that youve misused "heinous" in this context bt what the hell. YOU are an old fraud hiding behind some blanket that you feel that your religion provides. News flash!! I can still see you. Youre a weak little twit who's busy opening teh previous discussions with others with all sorts of insults. MY response abot the "Dont do what I do, do what I say" Is perfectly supported by the various Bibles of all the Christian cults. AND, how you think that it was an insult at you isnt my problem. Yore the one whose believing that stuff.

You religious folks seem to revel and bask in the conflicting writings and incorrect statements of the Bibles as some kind of inerrant revelation from a spirit god. I dont deny you your right on that. Lets just say that Im just sorta providing "peer review" of the "wisdom and teachings" therein.

If youre sensitive about it jst put me on ignore and you wont have to get all teary about my taunts.

HAve a nice day

@farmerman,
Fair enough farmerman...I am not here to fight with you...was just interested...In which case you claimed how I was defensive, then returned it back>?>?

In any event, the whole knowing God is bullshit, but being compelled to be here, to me, it makes little sense at all...and On top of that if God is real can't say we didn't try, and we didn't warn ya! Go do whatever you want...

I am not saying you can't...Would just like to actually see someone stand up and answer that question...

Like I said, I will answer exactly why you guys do this, when you ask me to...or after you saying something like your here for free food and a show...

Ask me, and I will explain it...If your interested...

@FOUND SOUL,
I'll say this.

Religion is confusing. What, we have a so called Bible, then we have a variety of Gods and beliefs, religions, off course it's going to be confusing because we are not dead to see what the heck it all is really all about, there will always be questions.

But anyone that believes in "a God" will take what they believe and dis-regard what they don't, just as they do with anything in life, that's human nature.

Side note, I didn't take offense to the statement made Farmer, I've heard it all my life and I question it. Spades, I don't think it was meant either although I haven't jumped on any other thread to see if Farmer be dissing you Smile

We're all good and it's the internet, I'd love to get mad at someone but I can't find it within me lols.

@FOUND SOUL,
I should say that Im here mostly for the show(the food is provided courtesy of other threads). However, All I see on most of these religion threads are displays of sanctimony by the religious, that and a lot of strange unquestioning acceptance of conflicting and lots of incorrect information presented within a dubious and multi- authored source book .

ACTUALLY, Im fascinated as to how religious people buy into all the textual information they profess to "believe in". Im simply fascinated at how you qickly dispense with your powers of reasoning and your previos learning. Simply fascinated.

@raprap,
You're kidding. I'm astounded that you of all people would support Ron Paul, and I say this with the utmost respect. What about the racist comments in his newsletter? He's opposed to the 1964 Civil Rights Act. (Ask yourself this question: Why does he comment on a landmark piece of legislation that is nearly 50 years old? Is Jim Crow an issue in this election? Perhaps the reason why Paul speaks out against the 1964 Civil Rights Act is to ingratiate himself with white racist bigots.) Just check his record.

There are other issues I won't even mention where Ron Paul is off the wall. OmSigDAVID is about as conservative as they come (well, on most issues at least, depending upon how one defines conservatism). He supported Paul until he realized that Paul would be bad for this country's defense.

Incidentally, as someone who gave up on politics years ago and finds himself repelled by both the political right and the political left, I don't have a dog in this fight. I won't even be voting in the Presidential election this fall. I just have a particular dislike for Ron Paul. As a Texan, I've known of him for decades. By the way, he's just as capable as any other politician of lying about his own record.

But it doesn't matter. Paul won't win the Republican nomination; so, this little controversy doesn't matter in the scheme of things, anyway.

Do you think Ron Paul's white supremacy is as bad as Abraham Lincoln's was?

@reasoning logic,
That's a good question. Smile I knew Lincoln held to racist views. Sad, but black Americans had very few friends among whites in those days (or for generations to follow). Incidentally, for all it's worth (which is not much), I also deplore black racism or any other sort.

I'm afraid I'll have to defer to the premier historian among us (Setanta) to provide an answer to your question. Wink I'm sure he knows more about Lincoln than I do.

I'm also now going to be away from A2K for almost the entire evening. Sad
