@GracieGirl,
I hope that u can vote, Gracie.

I bitterly resented my being disenfranchized, as a kid.

It means agreed, expressly and with specificity, in a formal way.

@GracieGirl,
Welcome to the wonderful world of the Internet where you can locate definitions easily. No more lugging around an 80 pound dictionary and a 5 pound thesaurus (although a Roget's Thesaurus and a Webster's Dictionary do make lovely shelf adornments). Yes, you can visit http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary
and for disenfranchised, http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/disenfranchised

@OmSigDAVID,
Overhead toolbar? Where would I find that? I have a toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

@Sturgis,
That should be below the URL opening, Sturgis, where this,

http://able2know.org/reply/post-4703164

is located. What browser are you using?

@ossobuco,
I will have to concur with you, as I'm certainly no expert on cold climate customs. With the exception of two years I spent in Corning, New York (a great town) where I went through the 1st and 2nd grades (which was five decades ago), I've grown up and continue to reside in the Houston/Galveston area of Texas; and as we all know, it doesn't snow very often there. Smile
