"There is a saying going like this..."
Is there something wrong with this sentence? Or can you guys suggest something more native?

There is nothing necessarily wrong with it, although i suspect that most English speakers would say: "There is a saying that goes like this . . . "

Thx. I guess there is a long way to go before I can speak English fluently and natively.

There is a huge gulf between speaking a language fluently, and speaking like a native speaker. You're doing well, just keep working at it.

In English, we don't use the present continuous, [be __ing] for things that are habitual/routine/general/always.

Because sayings are normally intended as a general truth, we use the present simple [goes,walks,talks,... ] for them.

There is a saying that goes like this, ... .
