@JGoldman10,
												I wasn't taking sides when I responded to izzy's post. I was simply adding to the humorous comment he had made, just for the sake of humor that was
not intended to be made at anyone's expense (his or yours). I wasn't intending to take a dig at you, although I can now see how my post would be interpreted that way. That wasn't my intention.
I'm on your side when you state your spiritual convictions. But I also think you sometimes are a little abrasive -- oh, I'm kidding myself. You ask a tough question. Ordinarily I would side with you, but the situation isn't so simple. Perhaps you need more tact? Good grief, you've got me. You need to be more diplomatic? If I offered an unqualified defense of you, then other members might think I'm harsh towards those who don't share my religious views when the truth of the matter is that I love people. Never mind that I have dear friends with whom I disagree on religious issues. (Incidentally, I might differ with even you on a doctrinal issue.) But if I don't defend you, then I'm a wimp. What to do, what to do? I'm blathering ... I know! I'll just say,
"I love all youse guys" or
"Can't we all just get along?" -- an answer that satisfies no one.
My pulmonologist would be quite displeased if he knew I'd stayed up so late instead of going to bed at a sensible time. But I'm an idiot, anyway -- which means that it's time for me to say, "Good night" -- or "Good morning," rather.
(Oh, well, I got myself into this mess. More hilarity tomorrow, anyone?)
