@OmSigDAVID,
He spent five years in prison as the result of shooting it out with the cops. I don't know how long ago that was.

@OmSigDAVID,
I just went and asked Miss Debbie. She said he has been in jail about nine times and he has not been out that long. She didn't know if it was federal or what. She said the five years was for dealing crack and one time was for shooting it out with the police. I am going to look up his criminal record at lunch. I'll let you know what I find out.

@OmSigDAVID,
I don't know much about these criminal background check things:

OFFENSE #1: Not Specied by State
Source State: Texas
Scheduled Release: 06/07/1995
Actual Release: 07/10/1998
OFFENSE 2: Poss C/S Cocaine
Source State: Texas
Offense Date: 02/25/1992
Offense Code: 3532
Case No. 624952
Scheduled Release: 06/07/1995
Actual Release: 07/10/1998

There have been four warrants in the past issued for Non-custodial Parent Delinquency List.

The officers here said he had a long rap sheet but it didn't show up on this report.

@Arella Mae,
Perhaps u can have your family lawyer
confer with Federal authorities
to bring them up-to-date as to his most recent misadventures.
Thay CARE about Federal felonies,
like "felon in possession of a gun."

In this case, u have a WITNESS of him
with a gun in his hand, and discharging it.

I'm so sorry for your dog. Poor creature... I hope the guy gets what he deserves. If only there was a way to get all maniacs out of normal people's life.
Stay safe!

@odessitka,
Thank you odessitka. I miss Freckles. I have to laugh because his howling drove me nuts. He was a coon dog I guess. He'd tree something and bay like you would not believe. He was a good dog but we will have justice for him.

I don't know for sure but it seems my neighbor may be in the hospital. Miss Debbie said he broke out the window of a store. He hasn't been around the whole weekend. It was peaceful!

@OmSigDAVID,
I don't know. Johnny has made an appointment with the family attorney like you suggested so we will know what SHOULD be going on about all of this. If he is on parole, David, don't the police HAVE to inform his PO if he's arrested?

Yes, but what thay shoud do and what thay actually have done (or how long it will take them)
might not necessarily be the same thing. U can call & ask them, if u want.
Do u know how much longer he had on his prison sentence, before release on parole ?

Was he arrested for breaking the window?

@OmSigDAVID,
I don't know if he was arrested or if he was put in the hospital. Miss Debbie thinks they put him in the hospital but she is going to talk to his mom to find out what is going on. There is nothing in the paper about the window breaking so it's very possible they put him in the hospital. I think he served all his time on that charge David. That report said scheduled release date and actual release date so I thought that meant he served it all?

@Arella Mae,
If he served all of his sentence,
then he is not out on parole.

Okay, but if he is a felon, he still can't have a gun?

That's correct; not legally,
not without a judicial certificate of relief from disabilities.
