You need to learn to read kidding.
Some of us may think you have a sedate, cosseted view, combined with the arrogance most of us typing here have as recourse, and want to somehow break through it. Me, for example. I don't know about Set, but I think there is hope for you.

I don't remember your age. I have a faint idea that it is something like 28, but I keep thinking younger. To be fair, I'll tell, I'm old, approaching 70. I've lived through a lot of points of view of my own.

As long as you know you're not an idiot, what does it matter? I'm just glad you are not mean.
By the way, he's also generous. See the laborious posts he constructed for us on the thread regarding the causes of war. I would have a great difficulty generating so much good will... although I'm planning to find and post a long statement from Nietzsche (when I get up the energy).

I think you're quite smart, travelling through a tunnel, whatever age.
We can differ on all this. JLNobody is dear to me, but we vary re some matters, somewhat.
Also, I'm a complete brat, and he is the most considerate person on a2k.
When Set was just a lad, he sat in a corner eating his Christmas pie, he stuck in his thumb and pulled out aplomb.

Because he wants me and I've refused him several times over. One day it got so bad he ran up and down the lane half nekkid (you'll have to decide which half) screaming at the top of his lungs that he'd give up astrology and roasted ox gizzard if only I'd kiss him full on the lips. I felt it was best to refuse and he's been quite angry since.
As for the idiot part, I suspect it's some strange part of his computer keyboard.

I think Set's complex. He can be an arbitrarily mean bastard, but then he can be charming in a way that really makes you want to be his friend. I try to take him just like he is at any given moment. I learned from losing a guy I knew as Timber here on A2K that I need to at least try to appreciate everyone as they are, while they are here.
