Jaws appears to be a nickname to describe the prowess of the person's eating ability.

Jaws is also a title of the very famous Steven Spielberg film featuring an infamous man-eating shark.

Jaws was a novel and then a movie that came out in the 1970s [??] about a Great White Shark that terrorized an Eastern seaboard American seaside resort town.

There's a drought and famine in the Horn of Africa, affecting millions of people, many of whom will die.

Meanwhile, in the West, we can have eating competitions.
