@JGoldman10,
I've just visited their website. I don't know how much help they'll be.

Lakeland Orienteering Club (LOC) has over 300 members covering all ages and standards from beginner to expert.

Our Members and events are primarily in South Lakeland in North West England.

Seriously though I do think you should post something, even if it's just one panel, because so many people think you're all mouth and trousers.

@izzythepush,
My last post was serious, (alright, apart from the bit about the LOC). I would rather people thought I had written a bad novel than think I was a fantasist who talked about something that was never going to happen.

@izzythepush,
I registered my material with the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS. That answers your question.

I like
wmwcjr's response via PM: "All I can think of are monsters, alien plots, and political subversion on the part of a fascist movement or some politician who wants to set up a dictatorship. That's all I have to offer. "

I was thinking criminal or gangster bunnies. lol.
Or terrorist rats. lol.

Seriously, if I have human antagonists I would have:

an evil mad scientist who discovers the dimension where these anthropomorphic cats and dogs live and sets out to initiate his evil designs on them and usurp their resources, and place them in some kind of observatory for close scientific observation.

an evil safari man who wants to put the anthropomorphic cats and dogs in a zoo.

an evil circus ringmaster who wants to put the anthropomorphic cats and dogs in his circus.

@JGoldman10,
I think Churchill's Blood Sweat and Tears speech did it better. I don't think he would have inspired a nation with, 'I have nothing to offer but monsters, alien plots and politrical subversion.' (With respect to wmwcjr.)

There are three types of conflicts in literature:

man against man
man against nature
man against self

The heroes could end of fighting amonst themselves, or one hero gets something wrong with him and his friends help him overcome it.

What about man against bureaucracy? I take it you've never read Kafka? Sorry that was a stupid question, of course you've never read Kafka.

@JGoldman10,
Kafka is not a book Kafka is a writer. He deals a lot with alienation, and the struggle with authority/bureaucracy. Look him up on Wiki. This may help,

@izzythepush,
Blackmailers - a group of strong arm men who go around extorting money from innocent people and forcing them to do dirty work for them.

That is like what the Mafia does.
