Regarding NBA downward revenue trend, here's a report from last year in Nov, 2010:

"The sports business outlet Team Marketing Report said Wednesday the average price of a nonpremium seat dropped 2.5 percent to $48. That followed a 2.8 percent decrease last (2009) season."

I presume a "non premium" seat is when you can't sit near enough to where the pork is shared out. Is that right?

QB's (vick - ribs; schaub - foot; cassel - hand) are dropping like flies this week...

I think I heard on ESPN that 28-yr-old QB Matt Leinart will take his place.

I just heard that Schaub will be out only for a few weeks.

Thanks for the update. Bummer about Schaub because Texans looked very strong and on the road to go deep into the playoffs.

Leinart was former Heisman trophy winner in 2004 (I think), but seemed to have fallen by the wayside.

He was worthless when he played for the Cardinals.

But...can he hand off without coughing up the ball? Don't you guys got Larry Fitzgerald? Isn't he a Pro-bowl rusher-receiver? He's on a record pace this yr...probably to get a combined 1600 yd. Why do you need a elite QB, too? (j/k)

arrgh...Cardinals ...Texans....confusion..I'm a silly savage. Texans QB Schaub went down not Cards QB. I got confused 'cause Cards QB Kolb was injured too.

Yeah, and Leinart used to play for the Cardinals, as did the Texan's kicker, Rackers ... I understand the confusion.

Week #10:
Congratulations to McGentrix and George for having a great outing. They finished at 12-4 and based on the Green Bay's scoring 45 points last night, McGentrix wins the week.
It was a bad week for us as a group. In fact, we had our worst week ever since the game started. That was some 6 years ago when I was somewhat smarter at keeping score. For the week we were about 50-50.
LiontamerX, Edgar and Tico did well at 10-6 followed at 9-7 by CoastalRat, Ragman and Mysteryman. Breaking even were Mis Cowdoc, Wandeljw, Rhys, Spendius and Osso.
Then it starts to get ugly quickly. EhBeth and Region came in at 7-9 while Cowdoc, AndyClubber, fbaezer, Jespah and JohnBoy staggered in at 6-10.
And then there was JPB, but she should take a bit of solace as the worst ESPN guy tied her at 5-11. The best expert went 10-6.
The insufferable CoinToss/CoinToss has been flipping around the room after turning in an odds defying round of 11-5.
It will take me awhile to redo the standings. Sorry for the misfire. Let me know of any errors.
