@Ticomaya,
Tico - I'm interested in your coaching. None of my business of course, but if you ever want to comment about coaching, I and maybe we are all ears.

@Ticomaya,
'Cept'n I'm in Sarasota here. It's my friends that are in Boston are grumbling. So are my friends in Albany NY area. They had snow the day before and 3-5 in more today.

@Ragman,
Right, you're in sunny Florida. George was sarcastically wishing for me to get a sunburn because I was enjoying sunny Arizona and a lack of snow, while he was dealing with a lack of sun. He then wished you the same good fortune as me.

@ehBeth,
Thanks, ehBeth. We still need picks from Fbaezer with 2+ hours to go until kickoff.

Quite right. Sorry for not placing my snarkiness in context.

I was painting yesterday and took a header off a step-stool. Clumsy.
I hurt my right shoulder a bit. This morning I had to go into work and
so I was shoveling several inches of what they call "heart-attack snow",
heavy and wet. Painful. I cleared off the car and my driveway and set
out for the Widget Factory. En route I got a call fro my a co-worker
telling me don't bother, there's no electricity in that part of Westford.
Grrrr.

@George,
Funny you mention Westford, I used to own a home in Westford. There were lots of trees...and many hang over the power lines.

Some key matchups and the line from today's Globe.

Jacksonville v Houston
Line: Texans by 9½.
I'll take J-ville and the points.

Washington v Buffalo (at Toronto)
Line: Bills by 5
I'll take the Argonauts -- er, Bills -- and give up the five.

Dallas v Philadelphia
Line: Eagles by 3
I got a bad feeling about Romo. Gimme the Iggles.

San Diego v Kansas City
Line: Chargers by 3
I'll go with Bolts. Reluctantly. I just don't like that team.

An hour before kickoff...
I hope our brethren in NE are doing okay today as the early snow has left huge numbers of people without power.
I checked the game day weather in cities hosting games today. It actually should be a decent day.
We are missing Fbaezer's picks from Mexico City. I see that he has not posted on A2K since 19 October. I hope he is all right.

This week, again, we as a group are pretty confident in our picks. We agree on 85% of the games. That is largely unchanged from week #7, which ended up being one of our worst weeks ever in the history of our game.
There are no toss-ups in week #8. The closest we come is Dallas @ Philly (where we have the Eagles 13-7).
We all agree that Houston will win against Jacksonville and that San Francisco will prevail vs Cleveland.
George has to pick Miami @ NY Giants. He is alone on that game as is Jespah in selecting Indy against Tennessee AND St Louis playing New Orleans.
Osso, Region and ehBeth agree with the majority on every game. Edgar disagrees with the masses on 5 games followed by Jespah and last week's winner Tico on 4.
Poor ole CoinToss could be in for a long week, agreeing with the majority on just 3 of the 13 games.
