@realjohnboy,
Remember that anyone who wants to can change picks up until kickoff tomorrow. My "projections" thing does not mean that things are locked in.
CT can not re-flip, though.

@realjohnboy,
Of course I cannot re-flip, I'm very weary.

Where is my gondola?

My vote for most interesting prediction:
spendius: Jets 34 -- 10

My vote for most confusing prediction:
edgarblythe: Miami 35 -- 37

Good observation, George.

(generally, though, it is not a good idea to lump spendius and edgar together Smile )

@wandeljw,
Ah'ma doing poorly on this pick-um rigamarole again.
Mixed feelings, glad Atlanta and Philly won, despite my picking otherwise.
I wouldn't be unhappy if SF won, despite my pick.

@ossobuco,
Remind to ask about Sopoaga and Boone reporting in as eligible twice in a few minutes. . . what is that about?
Guessing eligible receivers but don't have time to look them up..

@ossobuco,
Ah, well, Baby, The Rain Must Fall - I've gleaned 3 out of seven.

For some reason, I've remembered that movie title off and on over the years.

Now I can look up eligible receivers at my leisure.

After the six early games there are 7 of us at 6-1. One player is at 2-5.

What's particularly interesting about that. I think the Jets will win easy. The Dolphins haven't won a game yet and have travelled.

Jets 4 TDs and 2 FGs. That's 34. Dolphins 1 TD and 1 FG. That's 10.

I would have expected you to keep closer to the spread.

@Coin-Toss,
Oh, those vintage 100 Lira coins, Coin-Toss, made me nostalgic.

I used to use them to play pinball.

while searching for fuel to toss on spendi's fire, I came across this blog detailing the futility of my beloved fish...

"I hate Paul Pasqualoni, Dan Henning, and Ted Ginn Jr. more than anyone else on the face of the Earth besides maybe Osama bin Laden and Larry the Cable Guy."

http://www.thephinsider.com/2011/10/12/2486654/the-miami-dolphins-are-horrible-and-so-can-you

"Everything is backwards this year. No longer do I comb the standings looking for playoff tiebreakers--I am singularly dedicated to rooting out the teams as bad as our own so that I can will them to victory. Join me. Be a quitter like Bill Parcells. I believe many of you already have.

If we're all brave enough to scratch and claw our way to the cellar of the NFL, it can be Year of the Quarterback for a decade or more; and that certainly sounds better than even 12-4..."

@Rockhead,
What on earth was Mr Brees doing throwing a chance to take a likely winning lead away by passing into the crowded side of the end zone when he had a receiver as open as Elsie Banks' back door shouting and waving to him over on the left?

@Region Philbis,
It was only a bit of pushing and shoving as far as I can see. I've seen better fights than that in the pub involving ladies.

@spendius,
Very good observation spendi. It was the exact same play that fizzled in their first game loss against the Packers. The Tampa Bay coaching staff was ready for it.

@panzade,
You ought to know pan that the priest makes demands for your own good and the good of us all. Just wait and see what happens when the priest gives it up as a bad job and there's only the puppy to worry about.
