@wandeljw,
That would be amusing. I doubt she follows the NFL. I guess we could ask her to flip a coin 13 times and record heads and tails...without telling her why!
Do you ever listen to NPR's "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" show? There is a segment where well-known people are asked stupid questions about things they know nothing about.

@realjohnboy,
That's a well known method of giving well known people a chance to demonstrate their wit.

Has anybody come up with one as good as young Caulfield's.

@Coin-Toss,
Letty thanks us for the invite but says she will decline to participate. An amusing effort here, but it didn't pan out.
Moving on...

I am somewhat addicted to online scrabble. Over the years I have collected players from over 100 countries. I lose a lot of the games. Perhaps I will run into a player from some place who will not think me totally insane if I ask for 13 coin flips.
In the meantime, we need a surrogate for CoinToss/CoinToss this week.

@ehBeth,
What/who are you voting on?
I swear I am not making this up. A legislator in FL has introduced a motion to eliminate the ban on the "sport" of dwarf tossing.

@realjohnboy,
Ontario provincial election today.

I'm waiting for the dogs to finish their fine evening repast so I can head off to Poll 46.

@realjohnboy,
Umm..you might have it backwards, perhaps. There is a legislative movement to reinstate and ALLOW dwarf-tossing.

"A Florida state legislator has filed a bill to bring back "dwarf tossing," claiming a ban on the barroom spectacle was preventing some short people from getting jobs they could use.

Republican Rep. Ritch Workman of Melbourne filed the proposed legislation this week, according to the Palm Beach Post, which quoted him as saying, "In this economy, or any economy, why would we want to prevent people from getting gainful employment?"

Workman also called the 1989 decision to outlaw dwarf tossing "an example of Big Brother government."
