Do that if you want to, George. I emailed him this afternoon with a
reminder. I am sure he will respond in due course without nagging from dad.

and what would be the fun in that?

@George,
Rhys beat the nag, George.
He emailed me with his picks and with his always amusing rationale, which I have been asked not to quote verbatim.
Rhys' Choices:
Detroit
Carolina
Pittsburgh
Jacksonville (only because Rhys has some RB on his Fantasy team)
Cleveland
Philadelphia ("close but I prefer cheese steak to Rice-A-Roni")
Minnesota
Washington
Buffalo
Atlanta
Arizona
Green Bay
New England
San Diego
Baltimore
Tampa Bay (24-10)

@spendius,
Thanks, Spedius, but you left out the final score in the Indy @ TB game.
We are missing only JPB.

Week #4 is scary. We are evenly split on Tenn @ Cleveland. After that, though, we largely agree with each other on the rest of the games. We think alike on 308 of 352 games (87%).
Everyone chooses Green Bay, and only Rhys has Jacksonville over New Orleans. Wandeljw is alone in choosing SF and Seattle while Ms Cowdoc stands by herself in picking Cincy. McGentrix goes with Miami.
Panzade, Ragman and Edgar agree with the majority on 15 games, excluding the tossup game, followed by CoastalRat, Liontamerex and JPB at 14-1.
Rhys (10-5) is out of step with the majority, followed by McGentrix, Ms Cowdoc and Fbaezer at 11-4.

I can't agree with that John. On my list of scary things Week#4 is a very long way down.

The barmaid with the loose top who keeps on getting the glasses off the bottom shelf gives me the shivers.

@spendius,
I gather you are now frequenting a different pub then a year or two back. I seem to recall you mentioning a barmaid with quite hairy legs.
That was a bit scary.

@realjohnboy,
No. You have the wrong man. I have never referred to a barmaid's hairy legs and nor would I ever do. After a few pages of Darwin I find hairy legs quite fetching. Female ones I mean. Human of course. Those spiders are another matter.

@Rockhead,
Some of you mock me as being indecisive, unwilling to make a decision, leaving things to chance, rather then to the logic that exists in your lives.
I note that, in our little game with the NFL, Johnboy has tossed quarters, EhBeth has used ancient coins, Rockhead used what he did and Fbaezer is using Mexican coins. Coin tossing probably goes back centuries and centuries.
We, today, use it in sports. An old, long gone football league used to throw a ball on to the field. Whichever team landed on it 1st got the ball to start the game, but by then several players would have been injured. They went to the coin-toss.
Elections are decided by a flip of a coin, which seems to be preferred to, say, cutting playing cards.
Sometimes contracts to build stuff would be decided by people like me if bids were identical.
In ancient days, young lads would flip coins to determine who would have to face and die at the hands of Glatiatorious.
So I am CoinToss/CoinToss. Perhaps some of you think of me as wishey-washey, but I would contend that I have decided more issues then any legislatures in the world.

CoinToss/CoinToss has Cleveland in the match against Tennessee.

Are you okay, CT/CT? I am not sure I can make heads or tails of your rant.

CoinToss/CoinToss, by the way, has Cleveland over Tennessee in the game the rest of us split 11-11.
CT agrees with the majority of the players on 9 of the other 15 games.
