I was ejected from Graceland in 1992. we were in the jungle room, you know the one with the 70's shag carpet on the walls as well as the floor and the creosoled wood bark coffee table, and the tour guide said " And Elvis furnished this room from right off the show room floor of a downtown Memphis furniture store, can you believe that"? I turned to my buddy and said "Your Goddam right I believe it", and I guess I was a little too loud with my comment because I was escorted off the property. I consider it a badge of honor. Cool

I did come back at another time and get through the entire tour. You got the impression especially after seeing the "shooting range" that they made things fairly easy for the King.

That is an amazing reason for throwing you out, Bear; I would have thought that they were a little more lax.

Last August, they put in a picture of what Elvis would have looked like NOW, if he were alive... I'll try to find it.

OK--- I remember him looking too shockingly haggard and washed-up... well, forget the 'shockingly.'

I'd die, were I forced to eat myriad cheeseburgers for lunch each day.

The fog has lifted around Graceland tonight according to gracecam.com But maybe it's time to take down those Christmas lights?
