Happy Birthday Elvis. Who knows how fat you'd be if only you'd lived.
Doughnuts and downers, now there's a real All-American rock star diet . . .
They were just talking about this on the CBC.
He woulda been 69 this year.
Apparently, Canada was the only place he performed other than the U.S.
I woulda never guessed that.
My friend, Eleanor, the jiving G, used to do a great Elvis impersonation. That is, a great Elvis impersonation done by a very small, very Scots, 14 year old girl!
Wonder what's going on at Graceland today? One day I'm gonna head to Memphis, either for his birthday or deathday, take the tour, stand back and watch his griefstricken fans do their thing. I've gotta witness that scene just once before I die.
If you do, you will be travelling down U.S. Highway 51, headed for Whitehaven, Mississippi, when you reach the state line (which is also the Memphis city limit). In Memphis, that stretch of Highway 51 is known as Elvis Presley Boulevard--they wanna make it easy for the Elvis fans.
From Georgia, I'll be heading northwest, I-40.
Yeah, but Graceland is on US 51, no choice, Boss . . .
Guess I'd better make that turn, huh?
now, once you're at Danny Thomas Boulevard ...
If Elvis were still alive do you think he'd approve of his son-in-law? (ex) Would the two of them head down to the bar and toss down a few brews?
I bet Elvis would put his arm around Michael and say, "C'mon, son.... let's go do some fishin."
oh! that ex-son-in-law!
i was thinkin' of nicolas cage. would it be weird to have a son-in-law who impersonated you - in movies?
If I only had the same kind of remote for my TV as The King had...
you're not suggesting that Elvis is actually dead, are you?
Some believes that he is, yes.
No way he can be dead. I hear he lives in the same trailer park as Tonya Harding.
I have always liked Elvis. I recently bought a compilation set of all he recorded from the beginning through 1959. I liked most of his records until the late 60s, then only a few now and then. I realize he had faults, unlike the rest of us, who are virtually perfect, but, what the hey -
Ehbeth, I love it!! Altho I still have to see it live, the virtual tour was wonderful. Big Thanks!
