Have we had enough yet?

I get tired of everyone saying that we have a year and a half to go before we can vote these politicians out.
Do you know how many jobs I can help ship out of the country in a year and a half? A lot... I drive a truck for a living. I'm tired of going to an American company, backing up to their docks and loading their equipment in the back of my trailer to take to a port to be put on a ship or take it to our southern border so that these companies can leave this country. I also see a lot of companies going out of business because of too many regulations.

There are empty buildings everywhere you look. Our taxes are not competitive and they have over regulated our companies to the point that they can't compete here in the USA anymore. We Americans have been screaming for jobs for how many years now? We need those jobs to help pay our debts, to put money in the social security fund, medicare fund etc...

All the people that are going to be graduating college soon or have already graduated college... Where are they going to work? How are they going to pay off their student loans?

Our politicians haven't listened to us Americans in a very long time. They are too busy playing politics with our lives or trying to be politically correct all the time. We have tried calling our politicians to keep them from passing bills but for some reason both republicans and democrats keeps on passing the bills that hurt our American jobs. A lot of us drivers blame both of the party's.

So the last weekend in July of 2011 us drivers are going to either go to Washington DC or go to our State Capital because lets face it, Try to name one state that is not in debt right now.

Another reason why we said State Capital is because a lot of us don't live near Washington DC nor have the money to drive or fly there. We are going there to say that "WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH". But we are going to need all the help we can get! Us drivers can't do it alone. A lot of us drivers are using the social networks, blogs, etc.. to get the word out there to Americans so that hopefully they can join us in saying ENOUGH!!!!!!

We are also calling friends and family and talking to other drivers on the road. It doesn't matter if you are a Republican or Democrat or Independent because we are all complaining about jobs, the debt, and the economy. WE don't need sponsors or donations. We just need Americans to show up if they believe in the cause.

A lot of us really can't afford to do this but we have been asking ourselves, can we afford not too!

I see lots of complaints but no ideas about cures for the problems. Just going to the state and federal capitols and screaming at the top of your lungs dident change anything when the tea party did it. As a matter of fact things are worse now then they were before the tea party reps were elected.

@RABEL222,
I resist capitalism every day of my life, and the control this form of economic anarchy exerts over what should be a form of goverment, our government which should be controling the economy... What we have is madness and blindness arguing over who will captain the ship... I resist both, and I urge resistence...

Apparently voters in Wisconsin are revolted about 2010.

Six months ago, the GOP won big — now, six state senators face retribution

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Alabama vaulted past Arizona on Thursday with what is being called the most restrictive law in the nation against illegal immigration, requiring schools to find out if students are in the country lawfully and making it a crime to knowingly give an illegal immigrant a ride.

Alabama has an estimated 120,000 illegal immigrants, a nearly fivefold increase from a decade ago, according to the Pew Hispanic Center. Many of them are believed to be working on farms, at chicken processing plants and in construction.

"This will put thousands of Alabamians back in the work force," Beason said.

It is too late to export the slaves and expect any benefit since we already export our jobs to slaves in other lands... Why do you think immigrants come here if not to escape slavery forced by oppression... They think to be free only to find they are made slaves in competition with slaves... Slaves set the wages for everyone...

It's not that difficult. We elect people who have built a business and know how to create jobs. That means you don't vote for a liberal. Duh!

You have all that reactionary talk down, but you need to learn to think... An economy is not made only by producers and exploiters... Workers are needed who in their spare time are consumers... The fact of the matter is that wages cut to the bone do not make consumers... Exports of capital and jobs, and imports of slave made products we used to be able to create ourselves does not make any country rich, but instead, drains the wealth even from the wealthy... All of that feeding of free public money to the supply side is only going to break us sooner, and put us all in a worse place; but keep pushing... If you control the dialogue, as the rich and republicans have done forever, then you control the thought...

@Fido,
You want government to control the economy. That's our problem. We need less government control on business, not more.

People have always created government to control what they alone could not control out of the understanding that those events and situations that society does not control instead control it... If floods and famines were periodic would government be justified in doing nothing, neglecting to plan, and not controlling the behavior of people in relation to the situation???... It is common knowledge that capitalism is either in feast, or famine, or it is in some measure of decline/recovery... Should society accept this anarchy in their economy when they would not accept it in the street or workplace??? I don't think so... Every sort of activity having an effect, and possibly a bad effect on the population should be govered...

@Fido,
The US Government was not created to control anything. It was created to protect the rights of the people and allow their businesses to prosper without government interference. We have too much government control, which prohibits real growth. Socialism only works as long as those with money to fund it lasts. That's why taxes keep growing with liberalsim. When the people can no longer afford to pay the taxes to run the largess of government, you're socialism is doomed and then the rich get blamed for not paying "their fair share".

Happens every time and it's happening in the USA right this minute.

How exactly could the government protect rights without controlling something??? Even Slavery could not have been protected short of controlling the behavior of the slaves, and finally of the abolishionists.. Every form, even government resists change which is a good thing, and potentially bad.. Take, for example: A form of dwelling is good in our opinion if it can control drafts to the amount of needed fresh air, and if it can resist the forces of nature like wind, rain, and sun... We get attached to our dwellings just as to our governments, and why should we, other than that we associate all change with the coming in time of death.???...

Jefferson talks of changing forms in the Declaration and made just this point, that forms are not changed for lieght and transient causes... Yet the changing of forms whether of dwelling or governments or economies or simple relationships is the progress of human kind... All progress involves a change of forms... People fear to change their forms so in spite of their fear, or their ability to overcome their fears, they must change or die with their failed forms... Our form of government is killing us... It is killing us by supporting an economy that does not support the population... I can see that economics is not your strength, so I will not bore you... Property rights are more than equal to other civil rights... These are not true rights, but privilages that must be paid for to possess.... Nothing is owned free and clear... Since the government is protecting the right, the right must support the government... The situation is that those who have no property must go to war to defend the rights of those who do, and then must pay for the war they recieve no benefit from... That is why the rich are asked to pay their fair share...

@Fido,
The rich pay their fair share and always have. They also produce jobs. The problem with your socialism is you take from those who build until you've robbed them of everything. That's why unions are in the dog house now. At one time they were needed. Every good idea doesn't mean it has to last forever. It lasts only until it outlives its purpose, then it becomes corrupt. America is corrupt more now than it ever has been and that is because government is too big and running things it has no business in. Progressivism is certainly not progress as far as I can see.
