@RexRed,
Hell Rex. Everyone knows that Jesus was a white, rich, conservative businessman.

Neutral Hue, I have to say, I'm not a fan of that word.

I don't know exactly why our side came up with it. Perhaps it was retaliation for them always calling us "the Democrat Party" -- getting our name wrong intentionally? However, I see it as an escalation where none is really needed. We have had some pretty thought-provoking posts from Republicans in the past, and hopefully there will be more to come in the future. But that's less likely to happen if we keep on calling them "repukes".

But welcome to the site, and I hope you'll keep on posting.

@RABEL222,
Yes, I am sure if Jesus were around today he would have Boehner and the Koch brothers on his auto-dial...

Not very likely... No, I think he would instead be camping out with the occupy Wall Street peeps and have Obama, Hillary, Warren and Sanders on his auto-dial...

Hello? This is Jesus, did you send down those porta-potties I ordered? Mary is complaining and the shepherds have just about peed themselves! Smile

I've had this on my mind the past couple of years... I know the anti-intellectual movement of recent years likes to demonize the American public school system for the simple fact they want schools to be a profit center for venture Capitalists... If you look at the Bushes "no child left behind" act where students test scores where the deciding factor in how much money schools received... you can see this monetary objectification of ours and our childrens education... Our kids should not be a profit center for a venture Capitalist... But it will lead to another crash which is already involving more funds than the housing bubble... If you are reading this, don't be surprised when it happens and know who is to blame and how... It is not going to be the fault of those who wanted to better there lives and become educated... It will be the fault those who sought to commodify education... ~TRoP (Facebook poster)

@RexRed,
I voted for him when almost no one else did. He was much too intellegent for the average voter as was Adli Stevenson.

@RABEL222,
I wish I had been enlightened that long ago. I disliked Carter and though he was an imbecile because my parents were republicans and the news portrayed him that way.. Now I have a deep and profound respect for him. I guess better late than never. I sometimes wondered if my mother was more liberal than she let on. I pictured her playing up to my father's politics and then voting democrat while in the booth. I asked her about it one time after my father had passed away and she said she always voted republican. She is gone now too and I still question that.
