I know the Democratic party is not perfect, it is comprised of humans who can be wrong at times. But they are not driven by such narrow religious ideologies that they are blind to the social opportunities that our US constitution supplies.

So we should trust the independents who are on the payroll of the Kochs too? I trust policies not people or parties. It just happens the Democrats exhibit the policies I believe in. The Republicans vote en masse AGAINST the policies I support.

A former State Department diplomat is claiming that Hillary Clinton's cronies were part of an operation to “separate” damaging documents before they were turned over to the Accountability Review Board investigating security lapses surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya. This is according to a bombshell report in "The Daily Signal" by investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson

That Accountability Review Board has been used by the administration and state department as proof there was no wrongdoing associated with the Benghazi attack even though Ms. Clinton and other senior State Department officials were not interviewed/investigated as part of the inquiry.

According to former Deputy Assistant Secretary Raymond Maxwell, the after-hours session took place over a weekend in a basement operations-type center at State Department headquarters in Washington, D.C. This is the first time Maxwell has publicly come forward with the story.

At the time, Maxwell was a leader in the State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA), which was charged with collecting emails and documents relevant to the Benghazi probe.

“I was not invited to that after-hours endeavor, but I heard about it and decided to check it out on a Sunday afternoon,” says Maxwell.

He didn’t know it then, but Maxwell would ultimately become one of four State Department officials singled out for discipline—he says scapegoated—then later cleared for devastating security lapses leading up to the attacks.

Attkisson will be around in 2016 to remind people.

A Republican can not say or do something charitable when they have been bought to say and do otherwise...

Republicans are not necessarily like Reagan, they are Tea Party sell-outs. And thanks to the religious right Reagan denied AIDS research funds that set behind a cure by at least a decade or more. I luckily don't have AIDS/HIV but I have lost a lot of dear friends that still tug on my heart long after they have been gone.

Reagan also decimated the middle class with his erroneous "trickle down economics"...

Bill Clinton instituted DOMA (that was wrong) But Bill is also allowed to evolve over time on his ideas I certainly have considering I was once a Republican.
