Fox News is irrelevant and obsolete.

I am so proud of President Obama...

@One Eyed Mind,
Since you presented no idea there was no need to respond to anything. You desire to have a response to an idea seems you felt you had said something that deserved a response which is why I asked. Can you at least express anything that would merit discussion?

@parados,
I did not present an idea? Well, I suppose great ideas are very easy to miss, much like rich experiences in life. However I do contest your assertions, as I had said before that the entire political facet should be shut down, as it's not for the people - it's for the puppets. It was intended for the people - frankly people are verily stupid in this era, so it would be best to inform people before we tackle how they conform.

Rather than mindlessly quoting old dead barbaric scriptures, like Franklin Graham (who publicly criticized President Barrack Obama's faith), Pope Francis is a great man with much social relevancy and a seemingly truly meaningful heart...

As he should. Obama has no faith although he leans heavily in one direction. And it isn't Christianity. And your new found religion you are using to advance more apathy. This is the most selfish generation, or generations this world has ever seen. And the Pope is on the pity pot just like anyone else who expects someone else to fix what is wrong, and it isn't government.

Or is he really saying that the world is hopelessly lost because the family is being destroyed?

@One Eyed Mind,
This is what you had posted...

One Eyed Mind wrote:

Frank, you're not addressing the issues. The president put us in a debt further than G.W.B.

You're ignoring them for your own belief system - you're selfish and globally inconsiderate. People suffer because of you, just like the class room kids pick the class room clown for president, instead of someone who actually is smart and reasonable in their power.

I don't see much in there for ideas let alone a great idea

As far as I know every president since Washington has put us in debt further than the previous President so to point out this President has done the same as every previous President isn't much of an idea. It shows a lack of understanding history on your part.

Talking about electing the class room clown for President isn't much of an idea. It is a meaningless attack without much substance.

So I would have to say no, you didn't present an idea worth addressing. Nothing you said was a great idea. If you feel you did express a great idea that I missed, feel free to point it out.

@parados,
That is not my first post in this thread, Para.

Also, the point is not the absolution of political corruption - the point was to address someone's falsifiable claims. IT's very difficult to argue someone's one-dimensional understanding of reality, while also referring to the whole picture, when the point of addressing someone with a one-dimensional understanding of reality is having to deal with part of the picture, that which was violated by their willful ignorance.

@One Eyed Mind,
No, it's your second. I will be happy to post your first post on this thread but it is even more insipid than your second post.

What the heck, I'll post it just to show you it not only doesn't include a great idea it doesn't include any original thinking at all.

One Eyed Mind wrote:

We could simply just kick all political establishments.

Politics sounds like "polite ticks", and I wouldn't replace this sound any other way.

Edit- Upon rereading your latest post, I would like to point out how one dimensional your first post here is.

@parados,
Clearly you don't want to see originality in my literary arts, as you are deflecting the possibility you could be wrong - why? Because you know you are wrong, but refuse to accept that you are. Otherwise, you would be addressing the argument, instead of accusing the legitimacy of my art in an envious tone.

What I said stands. You have not argued it, so yes, it stands. I don't play games, Para. Hence why I am surprised my less serious responses got up votes from my serious responses, but you know people they take the serious as funny and the funny as serious, much like how the Joker in The Dark Knight kept saying "Why so serious!?", when he was the most serious of them all. The same applies to how comedians speak more truth than politicians.

Democrats Against Free Speech

Read the whole thing, Olson lays out how their arguments against the Citizens United and McCutcheon Supreme Court decisions are ridiculous. This is all about Democrats retaining power and nothing else.

William Teach thinks Republicans should not filibuster the vote in the Senate, and let the Democrats go on the record as being against freedom of speech. I don’t disagree, but I do believe the Republicans should be quite vocal on this, because the mainstream media will probably try to downplay what the Democrats are up to.

Yes they will.

Throwing **** at a canvas just as throwing **** at a page doesn't qualify as art unless there is meaning conveyed to others. You conveyed no more meaning than what a 5 year old does when they call names. Derivative art when you repeat what others have done doesn't contribute much either. Simply because you claim it has meaning doesn't give it meaning. If it had meaning it could stand on it's own.

Now you have devolved to the point of quoting a medium that is a derivative of another medium. Comic book to movie to you. Rolling Eyes

"You have not argued it so it stands" is the one of weakest argument there is. It is right up there with "You haven't denied it so it must be true."You have not expressed an argument. You have thrown out slogans and idiocies. Problem solving means you have to be able to talk about the problem and define it. Simply calling politicians polite ticks doesn't define any problem other than your inability to define problems in a way that can help solve it.
