Yes, they did, didn't they?

50-odd times. Which in addition to being a waste of tens of millions of taxpayer dollars, is just one more example of the GOP's ongoing war against women, the middle class, working men and women, the working poor, jobs, the American economy, and the environment. And further evidence that, if we want America to survive at all, Republicans should be voted out of office. Every. Single. One.

Where did you get the idea that since they started keeping records is long enough to make any claims, being the Earth is billions of years old?

I guess you forgot this... It's your claim. Are you now saying you don't think your claim is worth anything?

July 2014 average ice extent was 8.25 million square kilometers (3.19 million square miles). This is 1.85 million square kilometers (714,000 square miles) below the 1981 to 2010 average for the month.

Ice extent is below average in nearly all sectors of the Arctic.

@MontereyJack,
Quote:
Arctic sea ice extent declined at a fairly rapid rate through the first three weeks of July, but the loss rate then slowed due to a shift in weather patterns. In Antarctica, the advance of sea ice nearly halted for about a week in early July, and then resumed. At the end of the month, Antarctic extent was at or near a record high for this time of year.

And each year will be different just like it has been for over billions of years.

It confirms you are reading exactly what the media wants you to read. There is no objectivity in those articles. It is a one-sided assault. Other opinions are dismissed for a made up science to push an agenda.

None of that matters when we are talking about climate change. It has been changing every year since the beginning of our atmosphere. Stupid.

A quick question: do both poles have ice? Stupid.

The president did the right thing by staying away from the funeral.
If he had attended, it would have become a political event, with photographers everywhere, intruding on a private event.

Yes, both poles have ice.

The issue here is you don't know one pole from the other and you don't know the difference between total ice and extent of ice cover or the difference between "at or near a record for this month" vs "record for the year".

Maximum ice extent is reached in Antarctica in September or October. Claiming July's ice was an all time record for the year shows you don't understand much. You confuse the north pole with the south pole. You confuse one month with one year. You don't seem to understand the meaning of the word "Stupid." Perhaps you should look it up.

You made the claim. I only pointed out your claim was factually incorrect. If you think politics means you can simply make false claims, that isn't my problem.

No, you didn't. You claimed the arctic ice was at a all time record for the year.

You don't seem to know the meaning of words let alone which pole is which.

Yes, what you just did is Stupid. You are attempting to deflect from your inability to tell the north pole from the south pole by changing the subject.

The subject never changed. Whenever you speak of climate change you are talking agenda. A scam to enforce cap and trade with the EPA, and of course all the useful idiots who think they are saving the earth. Stupid.
