@cicerone imposter,
Quote:

We have so many of "them."

People can't see our economy improving under Obama for the past five years.
What ever happened to the end of the world with inflation around the corner?

Since they never pan out, they continue to create one crisis after another. Maybe, one of them will "stick." LOL

If they keep throwing **** against a big barn, they'll eventually get one to hit it!

The election of Barack Obama has been a political culture shock to the Republican Party who feel they have lost their superior dominance in the US power base, the US Presidency!....it's almost like an internal civil war....the GOP is beside itself and don't know what to do except oppose Obama at every single turn. Obama's presidency has thrown them off base and they're reacting like frightened spoiled children. Any moderate who're willing to compromise is met with the threat of a primary. Hence, the Tea Party gets the worse sort of candidate with strident off the wall political and social views to run against the moderates. Remember Christine O'Donnell "I'm not a witch" candidate? She forced a perfectly good Republican moderate to lose in the primary only to lose, herself, in the general election. Alan West (R-Florida) served only one term and when he lost I was salivating. Look at the off-the-wall Michelle Bachmann claims HPV vaccine might cause 'mental retardation. Bachmann is a Tea Party darling. She narrowly won by a small percentage and now she's gearing up for 2014. This freakish woman claimed Hillary Clinton's aid, Huma Abedin, wife of former congressman, Anthony Weiner, was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood infiltrating the State Department

The United States of America will begin to recover once the Tea Party has lost its power! Meanwhile, the GOP poll ratings are in the toilet and the congress is in the single digit. The problem: these wackos stem from red states and seemingly can do no harm. These red states are delighted the Tea Party is giving Obama such a hard time. This overreach could backfire on Republicans BIGTIME!

@Moment-in-Time,
Yea, I searched on the net totday for the GOP's performance rating, and it's at 9%!
Single digit; a new in US politics! I believe they're shooting for zero by the way they're creating crisis after crisis that doesn't exist. When anyone cries wolf too many times, it losses its effectiveness. Something the conservatives never learned in grammar school.

It's almost too funny to contemplate when a major political party has so many dummies in it.

They feed on each other while they spiral into oblivion!

@RexRed,
Interesting. From your article.
Quote:
So far, the Office of Congressional Ethics, the FEC, and the Iowa state senate ethics committee, and a special prosecutor are investigating a series of potential violations that include possible improper payments to an Iowa state senator, using campaign resources to promote her book, the theft of an email list of Iowa homeschoolers, and money laundering.

The entry of the FBI signals that the investigation has expanded into a potential criminal probe of Bachmann’s 2012 presidential campaign. It is important to note that being investigated for a crime is not the same thing as being charged or convicted of a crime, but with Bachmann herself being the focus of other investigations the FBI will likely be taking a look at her role in the campaign’s decision making process.

It's ironic; the GOP is always asking for special committees to investigate one thing or another. All while their own political brothers and sisters are being investigate for "real" crimes.

@RexRed,
Some of us are aware of the GOP's tact to make Obama fail.
But a funny thing happened on the way to the bank. The stock market is at its highest in history, and more foreign companies are establishing their factories in the US of A. Toyota alone is going to be hiring more than 3,000 US workers within the next two years.

Funny, that! Real FUNNY.
