@RexRed,
The law actually forbids all non-profit groups from getting into politics, not just churches.
If these people insist in filing a lawsuit, it may come back and bite them on the ass.

MADISON, Wis. — A federal lawsuit filed by a Wisconsin-based group representing atheists and agnostics argues that the Internal Revenue Service is violating the U.S. Constitution by allowing tax-exempt churches and religious organizations to get involved in political campaigns.

The Freedom from Religion Foundation argues that churches and other religious organizations have become increasingly more involved in political campaigns, “blatantly and deliberately flaunting the electioneering restrictions.”

About time! I'd like to see a group sue the Mormon Church in Utah.

@RexRed,
I just wonder why some hotshot attorney hasn't sued the Catholic Church for their involvement in politics, but especially about women's contraception and abortion.

@RexRed,
So 20 billion will buy everyone a house or an apartment, get them all a job so they can but food, pay their utilities, and cover any other basics of life?

What about those people that want to be homeless?
What about those people that are mentally ill and cant work or handle having their own place?

@mysteryman,
For mentally challenged individuals this is what coops and rooming houses are for. We already have them in the city I live in. Rooming houses filled with handicapped people. I might add, have you never heard of nursing homes and ombudsmen? Well, same idea... A logical and easy solution when one's concern is based around the already born when billions are spent by the republicans and religious right to protect eggs.

There are many who would like to remain homeless but at night they still need shelter from the elements, a shower, clean clothes and three meals a day... I know this first hand because I spent two years homeless myself.

@RexRed,
What the republicans will never understand is that support of all children with food and health care supports the future of this country.

Their myopia will never improve, because they only think about $$$$$.

@cicerone imposter,
I don't think Republicans think at all, they simply mimic like lower life forms... If they did think they would realize that, a stitch in time saves nine, today's children are tomorrows inventors and laborers.
