and most of them are not averse to paying the tax rate they used to pay, before W. Bush foolishly cut it and wiped out the surplus Clinton left him with.(A tax cut, may I remind you, that was SUPPOSED to be temporary, to promote job growth, which it didn't, and which the Democrats at the time, accused the Republicans of trying a backdoor maneuver to cut taxes on the rich permanantlhy. The Repubs swore, piously, no, no, it was only a temporary measure. Come 2012, and which party was proven true?)

About 29,000 people signed up for health insurance on the federal government’s HealthCare.gov website during the first two days of December

Once people realize the site is working they will try again...

Or do you think they will leave their spouses and children uninsured?

Also, those emergency room visits are only "free" to people under a certain income bracket, otherwise, it becomes a long term entry on a person's credit record.

@MontereyJack,
Nothing stops them from paying extra in taxes every year, if they are truly so inclined.

You forget about the unfortunate people who were denied coverage due to small print and worthless polices that they paid for to unscrupulous capitalists.

Since when is being ripped off "getting something for free"?

Just because you don't have a heart or conscience does not mean others need to be such jerks.

What would my personal life have to do with anything? I think I can be a good person and still recognize a useless, controlling law. That you have to attack conservatives like your pit bull Daily Kos shows your ass sucks cottonwood.

I don't really care one bit if you like my news source or not. And as for your personal life? Ditto. Try showing some concern for those other than yourself for once.
