@edgarblythe,
They even make styrofoam crown mouldings. Once it's painted, you can't really tell the difference.

@jcboy,
Do those corner pieces make the compound miter cuts easier to do or do they give you twice as many compounds to accomplish?

@Butrflynet,
Me, find a carpenter with brains. By now, he (likely a he) is getting older.

I can't even imagine adding styrofoam moldings.

@ossobuco,
Before I self destruct from anger (styrofoam moldings, christ),

I'll just add that people should/could pay attention to the nature of their own houses.

If they are tract houses, which many of us have, don't faux them up.

Some tract houses by good builders are worth mucho in California.

I know, I know, people played with all this, back when I was first interested in architecture. And after that, all sorts of houses were ruined and featured in magazines.

Listen to your house, even if it is a tract place.

@Butrflynet,
Oh very easy! I have a miter saw in the garage. I put them in all four corners and the blocks in the center of the room, just cut the crown molding to size and it fits perfectly.

@FOUND SOUL,
He’s already in the process of doing just that. He’s planning on going in with a partner in buying a building downtown and turning it into lofts. I think they have the right idea, downtown is booming here in St. Pete. They should have no problem renting the lofts.

I had four can lighting with LED bulbs put in the Florida room. Plus a photo of the floor after refinishing. Hard to photo the floor because it shines too much! And now that I have finished everything its almost time to move lol.

@jcboy,
The arch came out nicely.

It’s actually a large room, I just never could figure out what to do with it so it just became home for the dogs and tortoises and storage for things I didn’t know where else to put.
