@RexRed,
They're making Australia rich by buying all of their raw materials.

@cicerone imposter,
China has some of the largest coal deposits in the world. They are buying our coal because we are buying their electronics and vehicles, and every other thing they make that we don't.

@Builder,
China may have the largest coal deposits, but their mining of it is probably the unsafest to harvest.

They have the highest coal mining deaths in the world.

@cicerone imposter,
Aren't there underground fires raging in a lot of the mines?

@izzythepush,
That too, but I just vaguely remember the media reporting on the deaths at China's coal mines. It happens often.

@cicerone imposter,
As it used to happen here when we were into underground mining. My son was a coal miner and a chunk of coal could come out of a tunnel roof anytime and kill someone. Also the flammable gas was very dangerous.

I would like to build a case why the republicans (and tea party) are not good for America or our capitalism...

In one phrase? Republicans are not capitalists, they are pirates...

Pirates do not earn their money they steal it... then lie about it after.. Why are so many of Romney's speeches so full of bold faced lies? He is using money he and his cohorts cheated Americans out of to then cheat Americans out of an election... His main contributor is a gambling casinos owner. Just think of how casino's make their money? "Organized crime"... Bribery, extortion, cheating and lies... WHERE ARE ROMNEY'S TAX RETURNS???

While Obama's main election contributors are made of technology giants. The largest being Microsoft while Bill Gates it's founder is one of, if not the, greatest philanthropists of modern history... What do tech giants do? They EARN their money... They hire some of the brightest brains to use their smarts and geekish attributes to invent products and software that make life easier and simpler to manage. They help society....... while Walmart is ripping off Mexico with their underhanded piracy tactics. Walmart is also paying to suppress your votes...

Mexico would have done much better for itself with their own version of Walmart. Now capitalism may trickle down... but piracy has no end to its greed. Piracy knows only one trickle and that is UP... If republican pirates can sell even the rotten stinking table scraps to the enemy of society they will...

Take for example Solyndra... This was one of Romney's first major bold faced lies... He comes out to a staged mass of the major press and says to the effect that Obama created Solyndra so he could give money to his cronies... Well we know anything that comes out of Romney's mouth is a Carl Rove lie... Always just reverse anything he says and you will see the truth... Romney's lies are insulting to himself... Because they do reveal how low the republican party has been sunk all along...

It was Bush who created Solyndra... so as to funnel money stolen from the middle class to his and Carl's cronies... Unfortunately Bush left office before he could collect on that scheme.. So Rove used the loss to gripe and create an unfounded lie... Rove is just mad he could not reap from Solyndra's down fall... While I am sure Obama tried to actually make a go of it...

Remember Enron? Who lost from the Enron scheme? The American middle class. While the banks raked in all the insurance money and Wall Street speculators (the same ones who support Romney) had a heyday at the tax payers expense. Pirates not capitalists... What do you think Bain Capital is all about? Piracy... Offshore tax shelters? etc...

Republican pirates will not be good for small business, not good for big business, not for society as a whole, not good for the economy in general, not good for the world and definitely not good for the environment...

Republican pirates are not true capitalists... They are robbers, thieves and liars... Republican tea partier Paul Ryan's plan to steal trillions from old ladies medicare checks so they can line the pockets of the greatest environmental polluters of all time.

The earth cannot sustain another republican pirate as president...

http://images2.dailykos.com/images/user/3/Republican_elephant.gif

Why are the republican stars upside down?

This is like displaying the American flag backwards or upside down! It is disrespectful to this country, its people and its sovereignty. Is that the way the stars appear on our emblem of freedom that Betsy Ross courageously created to honor "we the people"? You call these pirates of today "the tea party"? This republican elephant emblem is purely racist and hateful to our current president, our country and even hateful to elephants too...

While the republicans had their hands deep in the pockets of our military generals with their corporate contractors (cronies), the proud image of America was set on its head in the eyes of our allies...

The world does not object in general to some of America's wars... only when they are being run by pirates, thieves, murders and unscrupulous plunderers of indigenous people... Greedy plunderers of wealth and resources who are no more capitalists than the most despised of criminality...

The tea party is just a closer step to total anarchy... Do we need to support and condone a new breed of these republican pirates who are stealing, lying and using the bible as a cover for their despicable deeds while the earth boils from neglect and endless smokescreen politics? Obstructionism in Congress just to gain their casino banks on more unbridled power for even more piracy... The 1% spewing their trickle down lies while appointing even more conservative judges to overlook imperatives enshrined within the most sacred constitution of The United States Of America...

Who is better for America?

Obama 2012

Pirates do not belong in the greatest office of the United States! They belong in prison... Those who sell their judgeship to pirates and thieves belong in prison... Lowlifes who pander creating and distributing lies for a living belong in prison. People who use loopholes and hide large ungodly sums of money to avoid all taxes belong in prison. The world largest polluters of the earth belong in prison... There comes a time in most people's lives when they learn that being a pirate is simply wrong and criminal behavior... These pirates are not liberators or patriots... they are thieves... Most people learn to trade fairly and provide services on good face value for the betterment of the commonwealth and the longevity of the earth...

@RexRed,
The graph clearly shows several things which includes a) the stim bill helped (and the majority of economists agree), b) employment was increased under Obama, and c) employment increases remained on the positive path since 2009.

The DUH factor of the republicans are 1) they complain that Obama has not created enough jobs, and unemployment remains at 8.2%, 2) they fail to understand that under the world Great Recession (that Bush caused), adding jobs is not easy, and 3) our unemployment rates are better than Europe's.

One more fact: Even China is beginning to stockpile the goods they produce, because demand has dropped. If they can't sell their products at their labor costs, how does republicans expect Obama to "create" more jobs?

Obama tried to create even more jobs... The democrats under Obama's directives created a bill that would block most conventional loopholes in the tax code for corporations and give them only tax breaks when they create jobs here. The republican pirates filibustered the bill... These corporations can't even understand, yea, we will give you your ridiculous tax breaks but you have to do something here for the American people to earn them... The repug pirates would rather just steal from the American people by using the undemocratic filibuster... Had Obama's tax bill succeeded with simply the majority votes it had Americans would slowly be going back to work at home here.

Bull ****, health care is not a human right!

Well Jesus sure thought it was... Are you saying you really don't care what Jesus thought? If you don't agree with Jesus that all people should have health care as a common dignity, does it really matter that else you believe concerning Christianity? No matter what religion you are if you do not believe in universal health care, something is off kilter in your fundamental foundation for principles of life...

One afternoon while I was in grammar school about sixth or seventh grade, me and some friends were playing baseball out in a hay-field. I lunged to catch the ball and under the hay was an old board with a nail protruding up out of it.

I drove the nail into where my hand and wrist come together about an inch at the deepest part. Because I was sliding the nail traveled about an inch in length. So the incision was about an inch long. We were in a outer secondary field a ways from the school. My friend Chris he got me up and looked at the bottom part of my wrist and hand with the deep puncture and laceration in it. He in a split second took his own hand and grabbed the wound and squeezed my wrist as a tourniquet with his fingers cupped around back of my wrist. I was in shock and he walked me steadily back to the school. He kept pressure till it was bandaged and I had four stitches in my wrist.

Chris believed in universal healthcare...

waterboy says health care is not a human right. Wonder of wonders, why do most developed countries provide their citizens with universal health care at less cost?

I wonder what waterboy will do if he gets west nile virus? He claims it's not a human right.

I do have to say this is one of the best counter arguments against those who are trying to strangle and defund Panned Parenthood or preventing the education and use of condoms in africa. I am going to steal this and use it thanks.

@RexRed,
Here's capitalism not working, but trying to stifle growth in one of the poorest nations on earth.

Please take a minute to vote for this very important issue, that of keeping the people's bank for the people of Bangladesh.
