If a man claims to be Jesus today, how can you tell if it is true or false?

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
FYI, "leaps of faith" usually applies to faith in religion. However, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that it may apply to other issues, and leave if up to you to "find" what you believe concerns me.

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
BTW, it's not a double negative when you claim something about me, and I ask you to prove it from my posts.

Did you ever study logic?

@cicerone imposter,
it is to me when you ask me to do something, and I ask for examples and then you don't give examples of your views but ask me again to prove but are "NOT' willing to oblige in ANY way...

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
My "examples" are the over 73,000 posts I have made on a2k. Since you made the charge - seemingly without even having any evidence, it's up to you to look for it.

I'm not here to look for a problem you seem to be able to identify.

@cicerone imposter,
I would like to agree with you but I don't know what the $50 would be in sterling. Things in London are more expensive than the rest of the country.

@Rockhead,
even if you disagree, it is sad to see "so many" slam something that so many view as being sacret....I don't see a lot of believers tearing down division in itself with other beliefs (including Atheism) so I don't understand the humor in tearing down peoples beliefs in Jesus Christ....to me it shows if nothing else a lot of people out there are Bad hypocrites and are arrogant to not even deal with there hypocracy...or except that they do in fact do it...plus they will stop at NOTHING, to try to put themselves up EVEN if it means stomping on another....People who do this can "claim" whatever they wan't but they really don't care about anyone or anything but themselves unless another accepts their particular views....these people are truly ravaging wolves to say the least....and this is a worse source of evil than Christians who claim to believe but don't follow, fido, or at least it is just as bad!

@Rockhead,
In Iran until very recently, it was possible to buy pictures of the prophet, it's never been such a taboo in Shia Islam.

@Rockhead,
I did not mean to slam you, it was kinda a culmination...but honestly I don't see that clip funny was my point...the best way I can describe it because Atheist don't have a God, would be to insult your family...like a wife, or child or mother...most people can sympathize with that...it is NO different...I think Atheist need to look from the outside and see that would "they" want there family to be insulted? (answer is probably no) then why or how can they not see the slamming of the whole Jesus thing is just NOT funny...if they disagree with Jesus, that's fine....God himself is not striking people down with lightning (yet) to force people to accept him...but Atheists are essentially saying they don't care about another brother or sisters feelings in insulting Jesus, UNLESS they 2 are Atheists...but if a so called friend insulted your mother it would hit home....

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
I disagree.

I think Jesus had a sense of humour.

God certainly did...

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
Nice try, but trying to use family as analogy with your god just doesn't fly.

@cicerone imposter,
why not? I respect Jesus in my life, the same way Atheist respect others in their lives...who in fact as an Atheist do you value in your life then in terms of other humans?? put that in the formula and it hits home...Jesus DID have a sense of Humor, so DID GOD correct...but Jesus if he exists is not potraying you in some foolish cartoon as something your not...and rather being disrespectful none the least...my guess is life in your family (your children) would be pissed if others portrayed you in that manner if you were not here anymore...and deceased

There is no way to show disrespect for something that doesn't exist.

@oolongteasup,
Truly, yes. Has anyone ever provided proof of his existence outside of the bible?

Why did all those miracles end - between his life and when the bible was written some 100 years after his so-called "life?"

When did the world flood occur? There is some logic missing in the creation of earth. Why so many contradictions, errors and omissions in the bible - if it's the "word of god?"
