ok so i made this new friend she is 8 and im 14 is she to young for me

What, there is no age limit for friendship. Surely its uncommon for an 8 years old and a 14 years old to be that close, but there is nothing wrong with it.

If you're talking about dating her -- even in the future -- then that takes things in an entirely different direction.

well to be honest im not interested in dating her i just like to plan for the future + not much people dont reject me really at this point i dont see the point in dating people think it is abnormal that im not interested at my age

Well we don't have enough info to say.

But very generally speaking:

If you spend time with her in an age-appropriate way (I think the "open arms" and "loving" stuff is not age-appropriate for example -- standard friendliness from an 8-year-old is much different from standard friendliness from a 14-year-old), especially in public or in the company of others, that can be (but is not definitely) OK.

If you think about her as a potential romantic/ sexual partner, in any way, I think it's best that you not spend time with her.
