There are two possible meanings. I'll put each in context and then explain.
Quote:Sarah: "Candace invited me to her party. I'm not sure if I want to go, she used to be so mean to me."
Mom: "You get along very well now."
That means that Sarah and Candace used to have problems in their friendship (they didn't "get along") but now they are friends again and now they get along very well. "Get along" here means they are compatible, have a pleasant time together as friends.
I was thinking another possible meaning was to "get along" in the sense of cope or deal with a situation. I don't think that really works in that sentence, though.
